On June 3, 2018, the Fuego Volcano erupted in Guatemala. Within 72 hours, a team of seven 59th Medical Wing pediatric intensive care doctors, respiratory specialists, and nurses were on the ground in Guatemala City to provide care for six children injured by the eruption.
