No emergency services are provided within the clinic. Response is provided for 911 calls and flight line emergencies. Patients are transferred as needed to the civilian hospital in downtown Minot.for emergency care. Ambulance Services is located on the 1st floor and provides 24 hour emergency coverage seven days a week to the entire base population. It is staffed with both Active Duty Emergency Medical Technicians and civilian paramedics.
The Beneficiary Counselor provides you with assistance dealing with your TRICARE claims and collection agency activities. Services also include one on one counseling as related to your current and post service TRICARE benefits. If you are an AD member considering elective surgery, you must stop by this office to obtain mandatory guidance as well as paperwork pertaining to your procedure prior to receiving the elective care.

The Dental Clinic is located on the 2nd floor and provides services to AD personnel only. Family members are encouraged to enroll in the TRICARE Dental Program (TDP). Patient care is provided M-F, 0730-1630. If AD have a dental emergency (e.g. severe pain, swelling, infection, or significant trauma), call 701-723-5565 to arrange a same day appointment.

This is an Air Force mandated program for all AD personnel with a special needs family member (e.g. spouse, child, or legal dependent). Emphasis is on general medical services, medically related services, and special education services. The program screens all Air Force families with an overseas assignment to ensure all necessary services are available at the gaining base.

All branches of the military offer EFMP, and each Service includes a variety of personnel, medical and family support functions under the EFMP umbrella. The Family Health Clinic is located on the 1st floor and provides acute, routine, and wellness care for the medical needs of TRICARE Prime beneficiaries, from birth to geriatrics. All enrolled beneficiaries are assigned a Primary Care Manager (PCM). PCM's may be a physician, a physician assistant or a nurse practitioner. We offer the following services: evaluation and treatment of most acute and chronic medical conditions; family planning (includes vasectomies and contraception), diagnostic services, minor surgical procedures such as ingrown toenail removal and skin biopsies, and a pseudofolliculitis barbae (shaving) clinic. PCMs refer enrolled patients to specialty care not be available in the 5 MDG.
We provide walk-in services for pregnancy testing, suspected urinary tract infections, sore throats, and suture/staple removal. You do not need an appointment for a pregnancy test. You may go directly to the Family Health Clinic Front Desk and a nurse and/or technician will screen you, order required tests and/or take care of your concerns.

The Flight Medicine Clinic is co-located with the PRAP Clinic and provides services to maintain peak peacetime medical readiness for our flyers and missiliers, promoting the highest degree of combat effectiveness. Immunizations provides all necessary immunizations to active duty, family members and retirees, including well baby immunizations, deployment related shots, as well as the annual flu shot.

The Mental Health Clinic is located on the 1st floor and provides mental health care for Active Duty and Active Guard personnel. The clinic is staffed by psychiatrists, psychologist, social workers and licensed counselors. They provide mental health counseling, Alcohol & Drug Abuse Prevention & Treatment (ADAPT), the Behavioral Health Optimization Program (BHOP), Drug Demand Reduction (DDR) program, Suicide Prevention, Family Advocacy Program (including outreach), New Parent Support Program and numerous educational classes such as stress management, sleep hygiene, and anger management. The Optometry Clinic is located on the first floor adjacent to the laboratory and provides examinations, diagnosis and treatment for ocular and visual disorders. We are currently seeing Active Duty and dependents.

Services include transferring medical records, copying records, and the processing of all incoming and outgoing requests for medical information. All requests must be made in writing and must contain the appropriate legal authorization prior to release.

By law, all military health care facilities must bill private insurance companies (third party insurers) for the care of military family members. It is mandatory that all non-active duty personnel complete a DD Form 2569, Record of Other Health Insurance, regardless of age, even if they do not have any other health insurance. Sponsors are not allowed to sign the forms for their spouse or any child that is 18 years or older due to HIPAA regulations. All monies collected from Other Health Insurance (OHI) comes back to our facility to purchase items for the clinic in order to better serve you.

The Minot AFB VTF is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. No appointments are scheduled Thursday and Friday, however, over-the-counter sales are still available for things such as preventative medicine.
The Women's Health Clinic is co-located with the Family Health Clinic and provides a number of vital health care exams and counseling services for women. Although the 5 MDG does not provide obstetric care, this clinic does care for most other gynecological needs and issues affecting women, such as routine women's health exams and annual pap smears; evaluation for disease processes such as endometriosis; dysplasia clinic; and counseling on a variety of women's health concerns, such as birth control, infertility, hormone therapy, aging and menopause.
