  • Pharmacy opens MedSafe to dispose of prescriptions

    The Kirtland BX pharmacy has been the sole location to dispose of these products using the MedSafe, until now. Recently, a new MedSafe has been installed at the main clinic in the pharmacy lobby.
  • Tricare changes effective now

    As of Jan. 1, previously advertised changes to TRICARE have become effective. These changes will give you more benefit choices, improve your access to care, simplify cost shares and allow you to take command of your health.
  • Kirtland boasts top nurse in Air Force

    Kirtland Air Force Base is now home to the Air Forces’s top nurse. Maj. Cindy Callisto, a nurse practitioner at the 377th Medical Group, was named the 2017 Top Nurse in the United States Air Force.
  • Pharmacy launches new OTC medication program

    The 377 MDG Main Clinic Pharmacy has launched a new over-the-counter medication program for all empaneled patients. The goal of the new OTC program is to eliminate the need to be seen by a provider for common cold symptoms, select other over the counter treatable conditions, and offer a means to receive OTC medications at no cost to patients.
  • MDG makes changes for mental health referrals

    As of Nov. 1, all mental health treatment for active duty, Guard, Reserve, dependents, and retirees will be initiated through the primary care behavioral health clinic.
  • Take action to make a smooth transition with TRICARE in 2018

    You may be wondering what action you need to take, if any, to ensure you continue TRICARE coverage in 2018. Some beneficiaries will need to take action, but most will not. If you’re currently enrolled in or eligible for TRICARE coverage on Dec. 31, 2017, you’ll transition to your respective TRICARE plan on Jan. 1, 2018. If you want to enroll in a TRICARE plan or change coverage after Jan. 1, 2018, you’ll need to take action to enroll in the plan of your choice.
  • 377th Medical Group honors nurses, technicians

    The 377th Medical Group hosted a proclamation ceremony at the clinic May 8, kicking off National Nurses & Technicians Week. The proclamation was signed by Col. Jeffery White, 377th MDG commander. The group then honored nurses and technicians with a small gathering that included cake. A poster board displayed information about the nurses and techs.
