School and Sport Physicals
School and sports physicals for children are performed by their PCM. The rush period is July and August because of the new school year, fall sports teams holding tryouts, and people moving into the area who need school physicals. Please try to schedule your child's physical early. Availability is limited the longer you wait. If your child has already had a physical in the last year, simply drop off the required forms for the PCM to complete. An annual physical is good for 365 days.
The flight medicine team provides medical care to active duty members on flying or special operational status, and their family members.

About us: The clinic provides preventative medicine through immunizations to prevent the spread of infectious disease. PPDs (tuberculosis/TB tests) are administered every day except Thursdays and the day before a holiday weekend.
The clinic's laboratory has limited services. However, they perform 44 tests locally, and regularly send samples to outside labs for testing. Patients can receive results through their healthcare provider, at the front desk of the main clinic, or at Patient Administration (located in Bldg 3, room 204) within 10 business days from date of collection.

All medical records documenting care provided by any Medical/Dental Treatment Facility are the property of the U.S. Government. Records must be returned to the 11 MDS Outpatient Records for appropriate filing and maintenance. If you would like to request a copy of your records, please stop by the 11 MDS Patient Administration desk in Building 3 room 204 to fill out a release of information form, DD Form 2870, or call for any records related issues. It normally takes about 30 calendar days to comply.

The optometry clinic provides eye care services for all TRICARE Prime enrollees. The Airmen ensure that each patient leaves with a clear vision of 11th MDS customer service is all about. Military spectacles are provided to active duty and retired personnel with a current prescription less than one year old.

The 11th MDS pharmacy provides top-notch customer service to patients needing medication withing the National Capital Region. Refills called in by 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, will be available after 9 a.m. the next duty day. Refills called in after 3:30 p.m. on Friday, and during the weekend, will be ready after 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
