  • Phantom lift

    The 39th Maintenance Sqaudron crew chiefs demonstrated and exercise that tested their ability to recover damaged aircraft by practicing with an F-4 Phantom II March 8, 2019, at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. The lift helps maintain the mission by increasing operational effectiveness, as well as improving on the processes to minimize further damage to downed aircraft.
  • Keeping your boundaries; Incirlik teaches self-defense class

    Members of the Incirlik Jiu-Jitsu Club instructed a self-defense class for Women’s History Month and included a lesson about boundaries from the Sexual Assault Prevent and Response office March 19, 2019, at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey.

  • You’ve got help: Clinic creates new ways to treat mental health

    Those words once described the video teleconference machines in the 39th Medical Operations Squadron mental health clinic until the innovative Airmen here found a new way to use them. Creating a new routine with the existing capabilities, providers can now provide readily accessible mental health care for all of Incirlik Air Base’s permanent party personnel, deployers and geographically separated units.
  • Pushing past the limit

    “How strong are you? I’m too strong!” Our very own Capt. Theresa Whittler lives by the Airman’s Creed when she’s treating patients at the 39th Medical Operations Squadron #MDOS and this famous Titan Creed when she’s in the gym pushing her body past its limits. We’re proud to have #TitanTuesday Capt. Whittler on our side because she is the epitome of what it means to be #TitanStrong!
  • Four Chaplains' Run

    The Four Chaplains’ Run was hosted by the chaplain team in memory of four World War II Army chaplains who sacrificed their own lives aboard the USS Dorchester by giving up their lifejackets to save others as the ship sank. The four chaplains commemorated were 1st Lt. George L. Fox, Methodist; 1st Lt. Alexander D. Goode, Jewish; 1st Lt. John P. Washington, Roman Catholic; and 1st Lt. Clark V. Poling, Dutch Reformed.
