About us: The pharmacy fills more than 6,000 prescriptions per month or 300 per day. Prescription service is available for all eligible beneficiaries. Please ensure you check in at the pharmacy to activate your medication from your provider. The pharmacy may dispense up to a 90-day supply of chronic medication with refills for one year if requested by your provider and allowed by law. Prescriptions from civilian providers will be honored if the prescribed medication is on our formulary. The Beale Clinic Pharmacy stocks all items on the Department of Defense Basic Core Formulary, as well as many other medications. Prescriptions are refilled by using the pharmacy’s 24-hour telephone refill service at 530-634-2859 or 877-471-4768. Refill requests will be ready in three business days if the pharmacy pick-up location is selected. If ScriptCenter is chosen as the pick-up option, the refill will be available after 5 p.m. the following business day.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How can I request refills? Call the automated refill phone system at 530-634-2859 or 877-471-4768. These numbers are also located on top of all prescription labels. Refills may also be requested online at TRICARE Online.
  2. How long will it take before I can pick up my called-in refill request? Prescriptions called in will be ready in three duty days after 8 a.m. For example, if a prescription is called in on Monday, it will be ready for pick-up on Thursday after 8 a.m. The automated refill call in system will give you specific times and days on when your prescriptions will be available. You may call in your refill up to one week early for a one month prescription or up to three weeks early for a three month prescription.
  3. How long do you hold my prescription? Prescriptions will be held for 14 duty days. If you are unable to pick up your medication please call and let us know so your medications are not returned to stock and remain on the shelf for you.
  4. What do I do if I run out of refills? If you have are assigned to an military treatment facility provider you will need to request a renewal through or by contacting the clinic you are assigned to. If you see an off-base provider you will need to get a new written prescription to bring to a Beale Air Force Base Pharmacy or have your provider electronically prescribe to Beale AFB Pharmacy as “DoD BEALE EPHCY.”
  5. How do I update my address in your system? DEERS will override what we have in our system so please contact DEERS to have your personal information updated. You can also call 1-800-538-9552 or visit your local ID card office.
