About us: We are a combined Cardiology and Pulmonary clinic offering services to all TRICARE beneficiaries in the Colorado Springs Market. Services include electrocardiograms, cardiac exercise treadmill testing, 24 hour blood pressure monitoring, holter monitoring 24 hours up to 30 days, echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and tilt table testing. Additionally, we offer pulmonary testing in the form of pre and post bronchodilator studies, flow volume loops, lung diffusions, exercise pulmonary function tests and methacholine challenges. We also have a cardiologist two days per week for consultation with all Market beneficiaries by referral and a pulmonologist two days per month for active duty patient consultation by referral.

Dental care is also provided on a limited, space-available basis for retirees and dependents of active duty personnel and retirees through the General Dentistry Residency Program. There is a dentist on call for after-hours dental emergencies. The oral surgery clinic, in the Academy hospital, provides oral and maxillofacial surgical services to active duty personnel, cadets, and Preparatory School students. Oral surgery care is also provided on a limited, space-available basis for retirees and dependents of active duty personnel and retirees.

We have a new parent support program, which is voluntary for expectant parents and families with children under the age of 3. The program includes home visitation services as needed. Family Advocacy Strength-Based Treatment is another voluntary program for couples and families who desire to change destructive patterns of communication. Outreach services are offered through life-skills classes in parenting, relationship enhancement, emotion regulation and resiliency boosting. Victim advocacy is a program that offers victims of intimate partner violence supportive services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Behavioral Health Optimization Program is co-located with the Family Health Clinic and serves to offers Registered Nursing, Psychology and/or Social Work support. BHOP provides brief, behaviorally-based interventions that emphasize education, skill-building, self-management and home-based strategies. Treatment is typically limited to 1-4 sessions and initiated at the request of the primary care manager.

About us: We provide diagnostic testing services for such laboratory services such as hematology, urinalysis, chemistry, serology, microbiology and pathology. The patient must have a valid ID card and a third party collection (TPC) card from the Air Force Medical Clinic. If the TPC has expired, a new one may be applied for at the lab front desk. Lab results can only be provided through your health care provider or through TRICARE Online Assistance (Blue Button).

Medical records are the property of the United States government and must be maintained at the 10th Medical Group. Per Department of Defense regulations, patients are not authorized to hand-carry records to their appointments, when transferring duty stations, separating from, or retiring from military service. Common care provided includes: basic musculoskeletal evaluation; arthroscopic procedures of the knee, shoulder, hip, ankle, elbow, and wrist; treatment of fractures of the extremities; total joint replacement of shoulder, hip and knees; and tendon repairs. The clinic has limited care for pediatric orthopedics and does not treat spinal conditions.

We no longer supply the following braces for Peterson, Schriever, and Ft Carson patients; shoulder slings, CAM boots, hard-sole shoes, ASO ankle braces, knee sleeve, patellar tracking braces, hinged knee braces (non post-op types), chopat straps, elbow sleeves, wrist cock-up braces, and thumb spica braces. Occupational Therapy services include evaluations for upper-extremity dysfunction, post-operative hand surgery rehab, upper-extremity post-fracture rehab for range of motion and strength deficits, education and treatment of cumulative trauma and repetitive motion disorders of the hand and elbow, and education on computer workstation ergonomics. We provide chiropractic care to active duty personnel. Chiropractic gives special attention to the physiological and biomechanical aspects including structural, spinal, musculoskeletal, neurological, vascular, nutritional, emotional and environmental relationships. Our service specifically includes the adjustment and manipulation of the articulations and adjacent tissues of the human body, particularly of the spinal column. We also treat intersegmental aberrations for alleviation of related functional disorders. Chiropractic is a drug-free, non-surgical science and, as such, does not include pharmaceuticals or surgery. We also support 27 USAFA Falcon NCAA teams and conducts clinical research, as well as serves as one of three AFMS teleradiology sites, supporting 15 military treatment facilities.
