    Ready Eagle exercise keeps 92nd MDG prepared

    The 92nd Medical Group participated in a week-long readiness exercise, dubbed Ready Eagle, August 23-27, 2021. Ready Eagle is an Air Force Medical Readiness Agency-directed exercise to keep medical personnel prepared for the future fight.

Jannotta, Naval Hospital Bremerton radiologist, conducts real-time provider to provider consultation on X-rays sent from 92nd Medical Group at Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington, which is using MHS GENESIS. The electronic health record has enabled connectivity between the Navy and Air Force military treatment facilities with convenient, timely, and expert interpretation for radiology studies, improving on previous routines that would routinely take 24 to 48 hours. MHS GENESIS allows Naval Hospital Bremerton to ensure 92nd Medical Group providers have results under 30 minutes, allowing for spot disposition for their active duty and beneficiaries patients.     MHS GENESIS a force multiplier, one read at a time

    Naval Hospital Bremerton (NHB) and the Air Force 92nd Medical Group are geographically distinct and culturally different, except when using MHS GENESIS to support mission readiness. As well as share – and deliver – timely patient-centered care. NHB was the first site with the Department of Defense new electronic health record in 2018 to provide results of radiology studies completed at one military treatment facility for another.

    92nd MDG celebrates 2-year anniversary of MHS Genesis arrival to Fairchild

    The 92nd Medical Group celebrated the second anniversary of Military Health System Genesis’ introduction to Fairchild by hosting a cake cutting ceremony at Fairchild’s Medical Center, Feb. 8.
