Airman defeats cancer, prepares for deployment

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Danielle Galich, 40th Airlift Squadron C-130J Super Hercules loadmaster, stands in front of a C-130J at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, Aug. 23, 2018. Galich was diagnosed with breast cancer in Sept. 2016 and was cancer free by March 2017. During her time with cancer, Galich received six chemotherapy treatments, surgery to remove the tumor, 33 rounds of radiation therapy and hormonal therapy afterwards.
