Lab testing COVID-19 samples

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Nathan Harris, a laboratory technician with the 96th Medical Group, handles a patient sample that will be tested for COVID-19 at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, May 1, 2020. All samples are handled within the biological safety cabinet, known as the “hood,” to ensure no particles come into the room. It takes about 70 minutes to process each panel.
