Colonel Mary Stewart is the Commander of the 377th Medical Group, Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico. The 377th Medical Group provides operational and expeditionary medical and dental support to the 377th Air Base Wing, 58th Special Operations Wing, 150th Special Operations Wing of the New Mexico Air National Guard, and more than 100 Team Kirtland mission partners.   She leads a team of 296 military and civilian health-care professionals providing caring for 40,000 beneficiaries, manages a $46 million budget, & serves as the principal medical advisor to the 377th Air Base Wing Commander. She is responsible for providing comprehensive health services to maintain the highest degree of readiness for nuclear surety operations, contingency war mobilization and Homeland Defense plans.  Col Stewart leads a joint venture with New Mexico Veterans’ Affairs Health Care System and partners with United Healthcare, and several local medical systems to enhance the quality and delivery of health services, while building strong foundations for continuing medical education and readiness currency. 

Colonel Stewart graduated and was commissioned from the United States Air Force Academy in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Management. Colonel Stewart has held a variety of positions at the clinic, hospital, Air Staff, and FOA levels.
