Q-flow expected to cut 72nd MEDGRP wait times
The 72nd Medical Group is introducing a new pharmacy services kiosk system known as “Q-Flow” for patients and beneficiaries who need to pick up prescriptions at Tinker Air Force Base.

Retiring Surgeon General saw revolution in expeditionary care
Air Force Medicine has changed significantly since 1986, when Lt. Gen. Mark Ediger left his family medicine practice in Missouri to join the Air Force. Ediger, the U.S. Air Force Surgeon General, retires June 1, after a 32-year career that took him around the world, through numerous postings and varied roles. Although Ediger rose to the highest position in Air Force Medicine, he says that was not his intended career path.

Air Force Bioenvironmental Engineers bring advanced exposure surveillance to the front lines
Modern battlefields have many sources of potentially harmful airborne substances, but that is not the only place that Airmen can be exposed to harmful environmental factors. Air Force bioenvironmental engineers are developing technology to track, catalogue, and provide useful data about environmental exposures that will help identify battlefield threats in real time and inform Airmen of the everyday exposures that affect their health.
